Around the Interwebs: Children's Valentine's

It's officially 3 weeks until Valentine's Day! And for those of you with little ones who are tired of the same old store bought Disney character Valentines and want to do some fun crafts with your little ones (or make some fun Valentines for your co-workers to remember the good ol' days) this blog post is for you! Here's some of the super cute, super different, super fun Valentines DIYs I found around the Interwebs.

This one's cute and simple from Grace and Ivy. Grab some FREE (yes free) paint swatches from your local Home Depot, Lowes, hardware store, etc. and stamp and/or paint simple Valentine's Day phrases, like above, and you're good to go!

Skip To My Lou is a great place for free printables. Fantastic for the little ones!

treatbagprintable

Another free set of printables from Anything But Perfect. Print them out and staple them to some ziploc bags with candy, cookies and the like. I think I'll be using this one for something sweet for my Cadet Assistants.

friendshipbracelet

I'm thinking this one, from Dandee Designs might be my favorite. It's so unique and not about love, which is always nice, since they are kids, and fun for everyone!

Clothespinheart

From the Queen of Crafts, Martha Stewart, comes the perfect project for the younger artists in your life. Let them make hearts. Glue them to clothes pins. Done.

Okay, it's a tie for favorite, between this, from 24-7-365 and the friendship bracelets. I think this is pretty freaking awesome. Personalized 3D Valentines. And it's so easy!

Enjoy crafting with your little ones and try to remember, it doesn't have to be perfect!
